The Arts and
Culture Lifestyle of Sekretariat Rakan Muda Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS
(SRMUTP) is proposing to organize Festival
Apresiasi Seni dan Budaya 2012 (FARSYA 2012). In general, our youth
nowadays, have forgotten the vital values of our Malaysian arts and culture as
though it has died with time. We, as Malaysian youths, must embrace this
precious asset and do our best to relive what our ancestors’ have left for our
new generation.
In order to
make the youth, especially the community of UTP to realize about the identity
of Malaysian arts and culture, it is our innermost pleasure to organize such a prestigious
event. With the theme “Explore Tradition, Discover Yourself”, the one-month
event which comprises of exhibitions, competitions, performances, and a
cultural trip completely describes the importance and uniqueness of not only Malaysian
but international arts and culture as well.
Overall, with
the commitment and full support from all parties, this program will be a
success and is expected to achieve superior feedback from the targeted
community.
