1.0       CULTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Description  :

·        Competition based theme to show the different cultures and arts besides providing platform for students to assess their photography skills. The photo will be shown at secretariat booth during the exhibition days. The aim is to utilize and nurture the talent of the people as a photographer and to capture the best moments and give the visitors as something to be remembered.

Description  :

·        Competition based theme to show the different cultures and arts besides providing platform for students to assess the skills. The video will be shown at secretariat booth during the exhibition days and also at Malam Prihatin Sanggar Mustika. The aim is to utilize and nurture the talent of the people as a videographer and to record the best moments and give the visitors as something to be remember.

3.0       GET SPOTTED CONTEST

            

             Venue                                     :           Pocket D, UTP

             Date                                        :           1^st October – 23^rd October 2012

Description  :

·        Students are expected to wear their traditional attire and bear the theme of FARSYA which is ’Explore Tradition, Discover Yourself’ in the most creative way. The committees of FARSYA will be accessing students throughout the dates at Pocket D only.

Process :

·        The participants are required to register and obtain a special tag from the FARSYA booth that will open prior to the contest.

·        Throughout the competition period, FARSYA committees will be observing participants that wear their traditional clothes and also wear the competition tag. The FARSYA committees will also snap a photo of the participant for the judgment.

·        The judging process will be based on FARSYA committees and also by voting via Facebook on a 50:50 basis.

 

4.0       THE RACE FOR TRADITION

Description  :

·        A competition ala The Amazing Race to find the next clue based on answering tradition and culture related questions. The fastest team to complete all tasks at each station wins the race.
